In a previous article, we talked about our mental health programs for businesses. In concrete terms, these programs allow organizations to provide their employees with access to a host of resources aimed at promoting their health psychological well-being.

Among the resources offered through these programs is on-demand therapy, which allows for a virtual consultation with a psychologist within 12 hours. The resources also include weekly check-ups, which allow qualified professionals to screen employees for mental health problems. Other types of resources include an article and video bank, and access to a mental health navigator via chat. This person can direct an individual to the appropriate resources based on the situation or issue being addressed.

For companies that subscribe to our mental health programs, it is possible to add access to the Headspace application. This represents an additional resource to enhance the support offered to employees.

What is Headspace?

Headspace is a personal and virtual guide to mindfulness. The application provides access to hundreds of guided meditation sessions and exercises. These exercises aim to improve psychological well-being, reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep, etc.

To give concrete examples, there are guided meditations to improve compassion or patience, as well as breathing exercises to reduce stress.

The goals of the Headspace app:

How does it work?

Headspace is an application that is easily accessible from a smartphone or tablet. You normally have to pay an annual subscription fee to access the meditations and exercises offered in the app. However, when this option is included in one of our programs, all members of the organization have access for the duration of the program.
