Telemedicine and Dermatological Conditions

Telemedicine can be useful for skin rashes and other conditions

Did you know that telemedicine lends itself well to the examination and diagnosis of minor dermatological conditions? Indeed, it is possible to obtain a virtual consultation and a treatment plan quickly by requesting a teleconsultation via our website. You don’t even need a doctor’s referral to do this.

Dermatological conditions treated by telemedicine

Dermatological conditions can be examined very well, even during a virtual consultation. Indeed, thanks to the videoconference service from which the services are provided, the physician is able to observe the lesion, the irritation or any dermatological symptom. In addition, the physician can ask the client to send photos before proceeding with the examination and diagnosis.

Thus, telemedicine is relevant for the following minor dermatological conditions:

  • Eczema;
  • Acne;
  • Fungal skin infections;
  • Skin rashes.

How does it work?

A few simple steps allow you to obtain a virtual consultation with a physician for the examination, diagnosis and treatment of a dermatological condition.

  • Request an appointment through the form: by clicking on the “Make an appointment in telemedicine” button on our site, you will access a form. You must create your profile and then answer the questions concerning the reason for your consultation. For a dermatological condition, you will be asked to include some details, and potentially photos of the problem on your skin.
  • Contact with the doctor: In just a few moments, you will be put in contact with a doctor. You can chat with him/her and he/she will ask you a few questions to clarify your case and your needs.
  • Teleconsultation: when necessary, the virtual consultation takes place via a videoconference service. The interface is completely confidential and secure.
  • Diagnosis and prescription: the doctor finally issues a diagnosis. This is available directly in the telemedicine application. If necessary, the prescription for a treatment (cream, medication or other) can also be issued in the application, and even sent to your pharmacy.

A rapid service available 7 days a week

Indeed, you are quickly put in contact with the doctor, for a same day consultation in most cases.
