Our telemedicine service allows you to meet with a physician during a virtual consultation, and this, in a few moments after you have sent us the request. Here are more details on the steps required to obtain a consultation, which are very simple.
Who are the doctors who offer telemedicine?
They are physicians whose practice is recognized and supervised by the Collège des médecins. They have the same qualifications and skills as the doctors we see in person, in the clinics. They can therefore offer valuable medical advice or guidance in the management of health problems. Of course, some conditions are more amenable to virtual consultation than others. In addition, services that do not require an examination can also be provided via telemedicine. Find 5 examples of reasons for consultation here on our site.
The steps to meet a doctor virtually
#1 Fill out the telemedicine consultation request form
The first step is to make a request by clicking on the “Make an appointment” button in telemedicine. You can then create a profile and fill out the information requested about your health condition and the reason why you are requesting a consultation.
#2 The request is analyzed by our team
Once the form is completed, the information is forwarded to our team. The request is then analyzed to confirm the relevance and feasibility of a virtual consultation with a physician to meet the need, depending on the nature of the request.
Please note that if your request is not admissible, you will be notified. The consultation will not take place and no fee will be charged.
#3 The appointment in telemedicine is confirmed
When the request is approved, you will receive a confirmation of your telemedicine appointment with the date and time.
#4 You receive a secure link
Telemedicine is a fully secure service. The information shared between the patient and the health care professional remains confidential. The consultation is protected and we have strict rules regarding the protection of our clients’ data.
#5 Teleconsultation
After only a few moments, you can be put in contact with the doctor at the time scheduled for the teleconsultation. The doctor can then ask you questions and find out about your medical needs. If the reason for the consultation requires and allows it, a visual examination can be performed, even virtually. Finally, the consultation allows you to obtain a diagnosis, advice on the management of a condition, or a prescription or referral, if that is the nature of the initial request.

It is important to understand that all of the above steps can be completed very quickly, within minutes. If you need it, it is usually possible to get a telemedicine consultation quickly.
