In particular, we offer in-home services as well as, for a few years now, several virtual services. Among the latter is online social work. People are often surprised when they learn that it is possible to meet a social worker virtually. And yet, it is a very versatile service!<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Qualified professionals with a wide range of expertise <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The social workers who offer virtual consultations through our services have the same training and are just as qualified as those we meet in person, for example at the CLSC or in a clinic. They are also members in good standing of their professional order, which oversees virtual practice.<\/p>\n<p>The expertise of the social worker is often misunderstood. In fact, they are professionals who can intervene in a wide range of problematic or difficult situations experienced by a person on a social level and in their daily life. Interventions can be made with adults and the elderly, but also with children and teenagers, especially in relation to school difficulties. A form is available. Once the request is received, one of the Clinique GO\u2122 counselors can contact you to confirm the request and schedule the consultation.<\/p>\n<p>At the scheduled time, the professional will call you to review your needs and to provide the requested services. If needed, a follow-up meeting can be scheduled. All you need is a computer or mobile device with a video calling service.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The virtual advice provided by the social worker is very supportive and can make a difference in a person&#8217;s life.
