How does telemedicine work? <\/strong><\/h2>\n

One of the main advantages of this service is the ease with which you can request a consultation and, above all, the speed with which the service is carried out. In fact, only 3 steps are necessary:<\/p>\n

  1. From our website, on the Telemedicine page, you must first click on the “Make a telemedicine appointment” button.<\/li>\n
  2. You will then need to create a profile on the telemedicine platform and fill out the form to specify your medical needs and availability.<\/li>\n
  3. Finally, within a few minutes, you will receive a call from a physician from the secure videoconference platform.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Is this service available at all times? <\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Almost! Telemedicine via our secure platform is available 7 days a week, from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. This means that you can speak to a doctor for medical advice, for guidance or for any other need, at any time of day, even on weekends.<\/p>\n

    CAUTION:<\/em><\/strong> If you are facing a medical emergency, do not use telemedicine. Instead, contact Info-Sant\u00e9 at 811 or go to the emergency room.<\/p>\n

    Can I trust the doctor I will be consulting virtually? <\/strong><\/h2>\n

    It is important to note that just because medical services are offered virtually does not mean that you should not trust them. In fact, the practice of telemedicine is governed and supervised by the Coll\u00e8ge des m\u00e9decins. Professionals who practice this way are therefore subject to the same rules and follow the same code of ethics.<\/p>\n

    Thus, by using our telemedicine service, you receive advice from a physician who is licensed to practice family medicine here in Canada.<\/p>\n

    Medical needs met through telemedicine<\/strong><\/h2>\n
